What it does

Most language apps are built around recognition: tap the right word, pick the right translation, match the pair. Recognition is easy to test and easy to gamify, which is probably why it's everywhere. But recognition isn't the same skill as speaking, and it's speaking that actually breaks down when you're standing in a boulangerie trying to order.

Avoir La Pêche flips the practice around. You talk to an AI conversation partner in French, out loud, and you record yourself doing it.
